Freedom isn’t about escaping your life. It’s a Freedom isn’t about escaping your life. It’s about creating space inside yourself so you can live it fully — guided by your deepest intuition.

💫Here are 8 actionable points to reconnect with your inner voice:

1. Begin your day in silence.
Before reaching for your phone, sit for even 2 minutes with your breath. Studies show even short moments of mindfulness lower cortisol and increase clarity.

2. Step into nature daily.
Walk barefoot in the grass, watch the sunset, or listen to the waves. “Earthing,” long known in yogic and indigenous traditions, has been shown to reduce inflammation and balance circadian rhythms.

3. Move your body with intention.
Yoga and tai chi aren’t just exercise — they regulate the vagus nerve, improve heart rate variability, and quiet the mind, making intuition easier to access.

4. Write it out.
Journaling clears mental clutter. Neuroscience confirms that writing by hand activates deeper processing centers in the brain, helping you access insight and creativity.

5. Breathe with awareness.
Ancient pranayama practices are now backed by science: slow, conscious breathing calms the nervous system and enhances decision-making. Try a few minutes of deep belly breaths to reset.

6. Trust your gut — literally.
Ancient traditions always linked the belly with inner wisdom. Modern research shows the gut microbiome communicates directly with the brain and influences intuition, mood, and clarity.

7. Meditate consistently.
From Buddhist monks to yogis, stillness has always been the gateway to insight. MRI studies prove meditation strengthens the prefrontal cortex and quiets the amygdala — shifting you from fear to intuition.

8. Create sacred pauses.
Say no to something that drains you. When you allow stillness in your day, you give space for the whisper of your inner voice to come through.

💛This is what works for me — but I know we all have our own little rituals. What’s yours?☀️

It always starts with giggles and ends up with cal It always starts with giggles and ends up with calm classrooms. But teaching yoga and mindfulness in schools isn’t just “nice.”

In a world that’s increasingly fast and overstimulating, they get a moment of stillness.
A moment to feel their feelings, connect to their bodies, and regulate their little nervous systems before they grow into big ones.

I’m not saying it fixes everything.
But it’s planting seeds.

For a generation with more present, compassionate and emotionally intelligent humans.🙏💜

P.S. how cute is my girl Leela?🥰 She spontaneously hopped up on stage to teach alongside me…teaching 300 people, not bad for a 5‑year‑old! 😅

We teach our kids how to walk, talk, and read… b We teach our kids how to walk, talk, and read… but what about how to find calm inside and how to connect to your true inner self? Meditation is one of the most powerful tools we can give to children. It helps with focus, creativity, emotional regulation, and better sleep.💫

Teaching yoga and holistic health in busy Los Angeles, I’ve seen how mindful parenting and meditation can transform not just the individual but the family wellness as a whole.💜

Start small - with breathwork, visualization, or short guided practices - and you’ll be amazed how quickly children learn the power of calm. ✨

Would you try meditating with your child? 🕉️

Slowing down isn’t about doing less. It’s abou Slowing down isn’t about doing less. It’s about living more fully! 💗 Especially in this busy life, it’s essential for healing, balancing your nervous system and clarity of your mind.

Here a few simple ways to practice slowing down today:

🍁 Mindful Transitions
Before switching tasks (like from emails to cooking, or from work to picking up kids), pause for 1 minute close your eyes, and take a few deep breath. That reset slows down your nervous system and makes the next moment more intentional.

☕️ Single-Tasking
Pick one daily activity—drinking your morning tea/coffee, folding laundry, or walking the dog—and commit to doing just that, without multitasking or screens. It’s a simple way to train the brain to rest in the moment.

🌅 Digital Sunset
Choose a time in the evening when all screens go off—maybe 30 minutes before bed. Use that time for a slow ritual: journaling, gentle stretching, or even just lying down and breathing. This signals to your brain that it’s safe to downshift.

Ancient wisdom from Yoga, Meditation, Ayurveda etc, has said it for thousands of years: Stillness is medicine.🙏

Today I’m finding mine by the ocean. What helps you slow down in your daily life? 🌺

Not me trying to find a reason to get out of this Not me trying to find a reason to get out of this ted talk of my kids that doesn’t seem to end! But honestly they’re hilarious and in hindsight I love how excited they both get to tell me EVERYTHING, and how they care so much about sharing their stories with me. So I’m listening even when the story is about a flying banana, has six plot lines, zero punctuation, and no end in sight. 🎤👧🏼💕

Kind reminder from the smallest member of the hous Kind reminder from the smallest member of the household: It’s a brand new day - Our neighborhood in LA has been notified. 😂 🎶💛

Also I’m starting to understand where this sky high optimism of the people here in Southern California is coming from.
This innate joy that children are born with, is truly being nurtured and encouraged here. Through schools that highly value kindness, through communities that embrace expression, through sun-drenched mornings that remind you…life is meant to be celebrated! ☀️

Californiaaa 💛 I stepped off the plane and the Californiaaa 💛 I stepped off the plane and the ocean greeted me like an old friend 🥹
There’s just something about SoCal…I mean HOW is this beauty even real!! The sun, the smiles, the air, feels like there’s more space to breathe. And it reminds me who I am.
After some heaviness and holding, I’m here again and it feels like light in all senses 🌊 ☀️🌺

After having moved to California, being back in Ge After having moved to California, being back in Germany for the summer feels so eye opening.

The contrast is real…the mentality, the energy, the way people move through the world. In California, life feels open, expressive, full of possibility. Here in Germany, it’s more reserved, structured, rooted in tradition. Being back stirs a lot of memories and deep reflections.

So while I’m here, I focus on the small moments with my family that bring me peace. And there are 3 things I truly love when being back in Germany:

☘️ Long forest walks — walking under those tall trees, surrounded by green, wild and earthy, and birds chirping filling the silence with the sound of life. It’s the type of nature that feels ancient and steady and it undoubtedly is medicine for the soul.

🛁 Sauna culture — Women gathering without pretense, speaking about herbs and healing and life with such earthy wisdom. It feels honest and freeing.

☀️ and the third thing is just the summer season (I know you thought I’d say bread or bratwurst🙂‍↔️) but honestly after the long, cold, wet months, the warmth of the sun brings people out here and suddenly the parks are full, cafés are buzzing, and strangers start talking. There’s this intense joy that fills the air, and it’s truly the best time to be here.

I feel grateful for the moments that nurtured me and visiting my old home, I can see and appreciate what’s here, while knowing fully that my life, my heart, my future is elsewhere now. 💛

Glastonbury Tor, a hill steeped in myth and mist, Glastonbury Tor, a hill steeped in myth and mist, where the veil between worlds feels paper thin. The energy up there is unreal—like the land itself is breathing with ancient wisdom.

Throwback to this most magical day with my soul sister @natnat_1210 in England exactly one year ago!

We sat at the top, wrapped in the wind, talked about our dreams, me talking about moving to California (and omg I’m here now!!) we meditated together until the wind turned my hair into some sort of wild halo (I look like I was summoning weather gods 🌬️🤣)

Later, we wandered down to the Chalice Well—one of Britain’s most ancient wells, known for its healing red waters. It’s a place deeply connected to the sacred feminine: nurturing, nourishing, and grounding. The flowing spring has been seen as a symbol of the womb, of renewal, of the deep strength we carry as women.

10/10 would recommend for spiritual moments and wild hair 😁✨🔮

Just some of the thoughts I had as I stepped out o Just some of the thoughts I had as I stepped out on the speakers balcony 😃 Being here in this building that holds the echoes of US history, it makes me wonder…what kind of world are we living in? And how did we get here? 🤯

As a woman and mother, for me one truth rises above the rest: Leadership starts long before the spotlight. Leadership begins at home. In how we listen. In how we raise our children. ✨

And if we want to shape a new generation, we need a new model of leadership—one that is present, connected, anchored in love….and ideally carrying snacks at all times 🙃💁🏻‍♀️👑

I might really be a Californian now 😄 Walking t I might really be a Californian now 😄 Walking through Washington D.C., this iconic, buttoned-up city where everyone looks like they’re headed to a policy briefing…I couldn’t help but notice the contrast to LA as I wondered to myself ‘Why is everyone wearing suits?’ (It did remind me of my corporate life in London which now seems like a lifetime ago!)

And yes, I know Californians have jobs…just more in yoga pants, barefoot or in full L.A. chic with a green juice and a wild dream! 💫

Loving DC, but definitely brought the West Coast lens with me this time ☀️🕶️🌴

Because this is what we’ll remember. Not the rush, deadlines or traffic, but these slow walks, salty air, funny conversations, the ocean waves and skateboarders cruising by, blasting vintage Snoop like it’s 1995…

Grateful for these little moments, in these fleeting years with my beautiful souls beside me. 💛

Do you ever look back and realize the thing that l Do you ever look back and realize the thing that lit you up was pointing you toward your path? ☀️

What started as casually sharing yoga to my little nieces, now turned into teaching entire elementary schools.

These moments with kids are just one part of what I do, as I teach yoga mainly to adults, but there’s something uniquely magical about sharing breath, movement, and meditation with children. I keep coming back to it not just because I love it, but because I’ve seen how it can be deeply impactful. ✨ It supports the kids emotional regulation, focus, confidence, and connection. And when we offer these tools early in life, we’re not just shaping individual wellbeing…we’re contributing to a more compassionate, mindful, and connected world.

Aaaand just like that, you can maybe find deeper meaning hidden in the things that spark YOUR joy! So ask yourself — what’s that thing in your life you do “just for fun”?

THOSE things might be whispering something important. They may not look like much at first — but they often carry the essence of what you’re here to do.💫

Follow and nurture them. You never know what beautiful places they might lead you 😉💜

We skipped homework and went straight to the beach We skipped homework and went straight to the beach after school. We stayed until sunset and forgot about math. In Germany, there’s this saying: “Erst die Arbeit, dann das Vergnügen” (work first, then pleasure) I guess I didn’t fully absorb that one during my time there.. I did tell the teacher though this morning that it’s my fault 😇 (hello mom guilt!) But no regrets…maybe life taught us more than school would have yesterday. Aaanyway Spring is here in California! And I hope that wherever you are, you have some joy today! 💛

Today is my favorite day of the year!! It always h Today is my favorite day of the year!! It always has been. Celebrating love has been my thing since I can remember. We used to throw big Valentine’s Day parties in London with all our friends and it would always be THE party of the year. Little did I know or could I even imagine how this day could get any better. Until 5 years ago when my girl LEELA was born 💖 The best Valentine’s gift I could ever receive 🥹

Since then, we get to celebrate Love and Leela— and I couldn’t be more grateful for my little travel buddy, my yoga partner, my tiny adventure-seeker, aand bestest sister/partner in crime to Vincent…our little dream team!!👫🏽

Happiest 5th birthday to my little sweetheart! And wishing everyone a happy day filled with some love! 💘

Still pinching myself that this actually happened! Still pinching myself that this actually happened! When I first posted these pictures 2 years ago, the thought that I would move here one day didn’t even cross my mind as it seemed totally out of reach.

The story of how we got here is wild - but in short this happened without any fixed plans. The only decision we made before coming here was to take a leap of faith and try it out. Then the place, the home, the school, the opportunities showed up one after the other. This wasn’t luck. When you’ve been dreaming about something and take actions and things start to unfold, this feels a lot like fate. It’s the life you’re meant to be living.

So if you’ve been waiting for a sign to do something you believe in - trust your gut and go for it full heartedly. Whether you glide gracefully or have to kick down a few doors along the way, there is a path when you follow your inner calling. 🌚💛🐍

We love you LA🌴and never loved you more! The ye We love you LA🌴and never loved you more! The year couldn’t have started more dramatic…wildfires, elections, I feel we’re in the craziest of times. Who else is “excited” about what is happening next? Yeah excited might not be the right word… I do feel the fear deep down and there’s no way I could continue everyday life if I let it consume me.

So I’m changing my focus, and this is not about ignoring what’s happening but it’s about shifting my attention to things that make me feel good. For me it’s the creativity, resilience and community spirit of the people I find myself surrounded by in LA. People coming together to support each other, having a laugh together and continuing to dream big over a cup of tea, floats my boat! Being in LA reminds me that hope and connection still exist in the midst of all this craziness—and I can’t wait to keep exploring this, one day at a time.💛
